Pace School of Performing Arts
If you are interested in a professional career in the performing arts, the School of Performing Arts at Pace University (PPA) offers a balanced program of strong academics alongside conservatory-style training. Our graduates are prepared to enter the workplace as knowledgeable, disciplined artists devoted to the integrity, pursuit and preservation of their craft.
At PPA, your music theory class may be taught by a Broadway composer, your acting teacher could be appearing in a major motion picture, your audition techniques class could be led by a working casting director, and your design professor might have just designed a hit show. Our performance spaces range from the Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts, home to the taping of Inside the Actors’ Studio on Bravo; Schaeberle Theater, a smaller black box space; and off-Broadway venues like the Lion Theatre (Theatre Row). In addition, we call the city of New York our campus, with its tremendous cultural and educational resources just steps away.
We offer Bachelor of Fine Arts Degrees in Acting; Acting for Film, Television, Voiceovers & Commercials, Musical Theater; Commercial Dance; and Production & Design for Stage & Screen. We also offer Bachelor of Arts degrees in Acting and Directing.
